Other Companion Products

The MRS system is designed to work specifically with other products so your office can be even more efficient.

Soft Copy Workstation Interfaces

We interface with major soft copy workstation vendors, such as GE, Agfa, Hologic, Fuji and others.  Some vendors even have us integrated into their PACS packages.  This allows the Radiologist access to the patient history in a paperless environment, and gives them the opportunity to enter the exam results directly saving them time, effort, and frustration.  Our newest MRS software has a time-saving feature that we call One-Touch Negative reporting.  This allows a radiologist to touch or click one button onscreen, selecting the negative result by tissue density.  The patient records are then put in the queue for printing the patient letter per MQSA requirements.  A natural, intuitive evolution of our software.

Information Sharing through Interfaces

DICOM and HL7 are both languages we speak and understand – fluently.   These interfaces allow the exchange of information between systems so there’s no need for entering data more than once. HL7 interfaces can simply transfer patient data into the MRS system or they can also be used to pull information from the MRS database and sent to a radiology or hospital information system.  MRS is now a DICOM worklist provider for facilities that might not have that information available from a RIS or HIS.

Quest

Our newest product family member was designed to allow patients to enter or complete patient history and basic demographic data onto either a tablet PC with a touch-screen, or a workstation kiosk.  Staff members do not duplicate data entry:  patient information is easily imported into the MRS application.  From there it is used for tracking purposes, and can be fed back into the RIS or HIS, saving hundreds of hours of data entry every year for staff members and saving your facility thousands of dollars.

Voice Recognition Interfaces

For a hundred years, clinicians have been listening to Radiologists.  We can, too, through voice recognition interfaces with the major medical VR companies:  Dragon, Talk, and PowerScribe.  Radiologists simply click a microphone button on screen, start speaking, and the text drops into the MRS report.  Simple.  Natural.  A perfect fit with MRS.

SMaRT

Our new scheduling matrix books, reviews, and updates appointments.  It works for single or multiple facilities scheduling, and interfaces with MRS.  It generates daily facility schedules, room utilization reports, internet and telephone scheduling, and much more.

Secured Access™

Patients can see their results letters online with the MRS triple secure system. MRS Secured Access is fully HIPAA compliant.  This technology improves on other patient communication because Secured Access is web based with a unique registration procedure and monitoring system.  You'll get concrete evidence that you've met MQSA requirements since Secured Access records it the moment a patient views a letter online.  No one falls through the cracks because, if a patient doesn't view their letter online, MRS will automatically sent that letter back into your system for mailing.
